During my childhood, my role model was my elder brother, a renowned photographer in our town. It was during my 10th standard that I had my inaugural experience in wedding photography alongside him, using a Nikon FE2.
Upon completing my Mass Media degree, I relocated to New Delhi. My journey led me to a role as the Director of Photography at Jain TV and later at Star News. In 2000, I found my life partner, prompting a return to my hometown. A friend’s request to capture their wedding proved to be my first official venture into the field.
In 2001, a new milestone arrived with the birth of my son, coinciding with the formal establishment of Studio Singh to cater to local high-profile clients. This marked the inception of my foray into commercial photography. The journey commenced with my inaugural commercial client, Hindustan Pump, and since then, the list has steadily expanded.
Over time, I had the privilege of directing numerous TV advertisements, collaborating with esteemed multinational entities like KFC, Taco Bell, Yum Pvt Ltd, Goodrich Cereals, Delhi Public School, Geeta University, Hindustan Pump, IITM Murthal, and Singla Pumps and Many More.
